POSITION SUMMARY: Position requires highly talented and motivated technical professional with application development and customer engagement skills and experience to join our healthcare technology team.
Milliman Care Guidelines Major Responsibilities
· Active member of the customer implementation team - working closely with Sales, Account, and/or Project Managers for the deployment of healthcare applications
· Technical expert for implementation projects
· Work closely with customers in providing support and technical consulting
· Document all customer interactions in Salesforce
· Create and maintain the API samples and documents
· Provide interface development consulting and support to vendors
· Work closely with vendors regarding future planning and keeping interfaces up-to-date for each release
· Interact with product teams to learn new features and share the knowledge from the field
· Maintain knowledge of current and new advances in the appropriate area by researching technical materials, attending seminars and training classes, and consulting with personnel from other industries
· May require 25% travel to customer and vendor sites
· Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Experience Required:
· Excellent analytical and programming skills
· 2+ years experience in working with customers providing technical consulting, support, and solutions
· 3+ years of professional software development experience, possessing excellent knowledge of software development process
· Excellent knowledge of .NET web development experience using ASP.NET and C#
· Knowledge of Relation Database design and SQL programming
· Experience in creating API interfaces and maintaining would be a plus
· Demonstrated ability to program and troubleshoot software applications
· Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused, changing environment
· Able to work independently and be self-directed
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Experience in healthcare Industry and knowledge of HIPAA and HL7 would be a plus
Education or Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
